    Hi Folks,

well the car needs a service, i have the NCT next month. it's an 02 Passat 1.6 Petrol.

rang Brady's in castleknock yesterday and enquired about their service charges - was quoted 103e p.h. which is bloody pricey if you ask me.

does anyone on here know of a decent garage in the castlemknock/blanchardstown general d15 area that can doa good job for a little less?

thanks for any info & happy new year!

I wouldn't be going to a main dealer for a service on an 02 car. Can highly recommend Dave McCann in Coolmine Industrial Estate.

There is also another independent garage that advertises services for €150 in Coolmine (its around the back of one on the big blocks) - no experience of them though

SeJim motors at the Statoil station outside Clonee I think charge €50 per hour plus parts. They do all my work and I can highly recomend them.

Worthwhile looking up north too. I've had my last 2 services done in Enniskillen and saved a packet. In the fist case there was a €400 difference between their price and one I was quoted in Dublin,
