Loose Teeth

Hi, I woke up this morning and touched my lower two front teeth. Both are loose, there's also quite a build up of tartar behind them. I had a gum infection about 2 months ago and went to a dentist who put me on antibiotics and cleaned my teeth except for the 2 lower front teeth. She said she's wait until the infection cleared completely and would clean those teeth in the new year.

Now, I'm trying to get an appointment today - but basically want to know am I doomed to now getting some false teeth to replace these loose teeth? Or are there other options available?
