Has this fight been confirmed? Does anyone have the details, undercard etc. I'd love to head over to it but realistically won't be able to swing it . It's sure to be a cracker.

    Definitely put back to April.
Whoever wins this fight will get a chance to tango with Pavlik. We are in for a great night of boxing. :D

I wonder what will come of this. Sometimes "eliminators" lead to nothing, or a title shot in the distant future with the winner keeping busy with soft touches.
Also with Pavlik being the name he is he may choose to vacate like Hatton did to fight Castillo. He doesnt exactly need Macklin.

Either way its a good position for Macklin to be in and he is potentially one fight away from fighting for the lineal world middleweight championship. A world title of any kind is special but seeing the history books go Hopkins, Taylor, Pavlik, Macklin would be something else!

Will the fight still be in Bermingham?

Yes of course his fights will be in birmingham as will all his big fights , us irish will most likely just get the voluntarys which is better than nothing.( i cant see mandy lee getting a title any time soon)

I was at the Asikainen fight in Manch so just wondering as its much handier. Yeah as long as its decent action thats the main thing, or if you have a solid undercard to support it.
Id say if Hatton got a world title and made a few defences Ireland would be the stage for at least one of them.

I thought the Matt-Hatton - Ndou undercard was very good. If they were all of that quality we'd be doing well.
