Does anyone else notice that the game bonuses are gimped when you prestige?
When I prestiged I played a game of Demolition and played a monster game but only scored a bonus of around 600 points. Before prestige I would have expected at least 5 or 6 thousand points.

I'm not too sure how the bonuses work, but I've played on CTF a few time got a score of about 1000 and then got a bonus of 3000-3500. I honestly don't know how that happens.

Not complaining tho!

i've been playing for 4 days 15 hours and im lvl 65 1st prestige. though i often play alot of games for fun that dont give alot of xp like ffa and tdm.

I think maybe you should give it a bit more time. A lot of the stuff which makes you want to play on is only available at higher ranks: perks, different weapons etc.

It's a shame you quit so early.... Give it another chance!

I'm about 2 days 15 hours or so. I'm at level 58 (I haven't prestiged yet).

When people say '1st Prestige, level 40' - does that mean you have prestiged once already and you're back up to level 40?

yep, there are 10 Prestige levels, each one you have to get to 70

played 3 + 1/2 days, first prestige 70, stayed on no prestige 70 and have been on 1st prestige 70 for over a day gametime, should be like 3/4th prestige but i play clan matches so i dont bother.

2 days, level 69 and starting to tire of dealing with the piss poor matchmaking night after night. Will have Killzone 2, Wipeout Fury and Unchartered 2 from tonight so might put MW2 on hold for a while, it should be much better once I've my 30mb line installed in two weeks

I'm playing 2 d 12 hours (approx) and am currently L61. Working on maxing out ACR at the moment along with some of the 10k XP perk challenges.

Will be unlocking a new pistol at L62 and will work on that too, with the intent of getting a Witch class (Tact knife, marathon, lightweight, commando) going for lots of Perk bonus completion. I know it's an annoying loadout, but when in Rome...
