clubs and societies???

    Would anybody know if you can join a club or society in the college, even though you dont go to that college?

    Yes you can, although you may not join the committee or vote on any agendas. There may be other stipulations as well that I don't know about.

    That's not necessarily true CosmicFrog. In fact the majority of clubs and societies will not let you join unless you are a student or member of staff at NUIG. I only know of one who will let you. I have been on a committee and we have refused over a hundred people because we are not allowed to take in members of the public.

    I see, what if you were in another college in the city, and you wanted to join a society and which society lets anybody join do you know?

    Joint the society for that college?

    Or set one up if it's not already there.
