Although i have "heard of" rampant examples of homosexual traits often demonstrated at night time in the male billets too! rumours of tea bagging, the brain, lets all hide in johnny's bed while naked, etc!!!:D

Personally I don't have an issue with any males with homosexual leanings in the army, i don't know how they'd feel with some of the carry on that "supposedly" occurs after lights out though!!! They'd probably find us all too "camp" :rolleyes: to be interested in any of us!

Whilst there are many gay people in the DF. Them being gay is entirely their business and makes no difference to there standing within the organization. In the modern DF they are under no obligation to explain themselves or where a big pink badge. Its not as if they are ginger!!

However being on "camp" and questions from an NCO like "Do you fancy me?" could lead to awkward situations :P

Slightly off topic and directed at Manic (and members of the Irish DF) Are you aware of any gay guys in your unit, are there any people who have major issues with it (as in I'm not going into that field with him sir!)

Manic I would say for your guys it's a bit different being in a very active warzone, I doubt they care if the guy covering their arse is gay/straight/or whatever aslong as he can soldier.
