    Hi Everyone,
I have a few shares that I am interested in buying (below).
The problem is, they are listed on US, UK, and european exchanges.
Is there an advantage to be had buying on one or the other?
Should you always buy on the home exchange?
    Does it matter at all?

    Thanks for any advice,
    Rich

An obvious answer is to stay away from ISEQ / FTSE due to the 1% / 0.5% tax charged on purchase. I can't give any more insight than that though

    Keep in mind the following:

    (1) Your broker will probably have different fee structures for different markets. This may have a major impact on your returns.
    (2) The currency you are investing with. If you are using Euros, investing in a stock who's quotations are in Euro's should eliminate currency risk for you.

Theoretically, the shares should price the same no matter what exchange they are on - as long as they provide the same entitlements. However, this is not always the case.

Although you didn't mention any. I think long term we all should look at Asian markets.

However on to your point, remember the foreign currency risk if you are investing out of the Eurozone. I would tend to keep my stocks in the currency that I use on a day to day basis. That's just me.

These shares you mentioned are very similar to the equities I outlined for my Energy portfolio, hope you did your own research, all these equities are very risky, you will need a high risk tolerance as it will be a bumpy ride. :)
