Sunday Tribune Business Section

Has anybody noticed yesterday's Sunday Tribune Business Section yet? It was cut from its usual and comprehensive supplement to 2 broadsheet pages now part of the main paper.
I hope this isn't permanent as the business supplement is by a mile the best sunday business section in the country.
In many ways it is the only supplement that covers real business news (obviously excluding the Business Post which isn't a supplement).

I wonder is this to do with the reported dire financial state of the paper but in my view, this change will lead to a loss in readers.

slow news season? most papers are a bit light every new year.

I wouldn't jump to any conclusions just yet - as the last poster points out it's a quiet time of year for newspapers in general.

Pagnation is generally much lower as there is less happening (economically and politically at least) and a lot of staff are on holidays, even if it's just a few days over Christmas.

Most Sunday newspapers this weekend were heavy on the 'year in review' type content but I'd imagine things will be back to normal this Sunday.

Pagination is lower, as other posters said, over Christmas. They will be continuing with a full business section with some interesting new names.
