Does anyone have any info on when the timetable for the Jan exams are out for people who missed christmas ones due to swine flu? They just said Jan. I presume we'll get some notice.

    Hi
I would find it strange for any faculty/college to have separate exams in January, no matter what the circumstances.
If it were a module just examined by coursework, some internal arrangement could be made. Failing that, I guess you will need to contact the departments in question and see what arrangements can be made. The logistics of rescheduling/booking venues and creating an exam timetable in the middle of teaching suggest there will be no repeats in January, to be honest. (Think of a rescheduled exam clashing with a class you have!) In my experience in college (a while, tbh), I've not heard of this happening but am happy to be corrected.

Just found out they're on next week. It seems to be on a department by dept basis. Weather permitting of course. Am currently stuck on a mountain in Kerry. Being snowed in is not as fun as I thought.
