hey, currently in seattle on holidays, hoping to go to vancouver at the weekend. will i be alright getting back into the states afterwards under the esta waiver or will i need to fill out more forms etc?

Just cross the Canadian border as normal. Dont give up your I-94W in your passport and when coming back across, they will see the I-94W in your passport and will allow you back in.
