    Hi all.

    Re: xpresscoffeeuk.co.uk

Just wondered if anyone has dealt with this company?

I want to purchase a Jura Z5 II from them. Everything looks great on the website & they are very nice to deal with over the phone but I have not yet parted with my hard earned cash!!:D

Would really appreciate a swift response as need to ring them tomorrow with an order if I'm suitably reassured!!!

    Thanks!:)

    Hi all,
    With reference to http://www.xpresscoffeeuk.co.uk
Please pass this on if you are in the Coffee business or know someone that is to warn people about this company.
My wife setup a small specialist food cafe in Edinburgh at the start of the year and ordered a grinder from here.
She messed up in a minor degree by ordering on her own personal credit card and having delivered to the business address, an error anyone not completely internet savvy could make.
Sadly the grinder never came, without any explanation, causing considerable stress our end while trying to launch the business.
The fantastic people at Artisan Roast http://www.artisanroast.co.uk lent her a temporary grinder so she was able to even open the café, massive kudos to those guys who have been nothing but helpful.
In the meantime we called and called and our messages were never returned.
Eventually I got an individual calling herself Tracey who on the face of it seemed very helpful.
So the grinder was very belatedly sent out and when it arrived it was faulty, didn’t work at all, and was much too small for our purposes.
This was witnessed by our coffee rep from http://www.caffeinefix.org who was with us at the time of delivery BTW on a small added point the promised free beans and chocolate were not included.
So I called "Tracey" and she seemingly helpfully arranged to have it picked up, but of course never did, so again I was left calling and calling no reply.
Eventually (and remember we are trying to run a fledgling business here) I got her. She insisted we hadn’t been around for pick up, but the reality was even after the previous carry on with the address on the credit card the company had been (allegedly) sending the courier to our home address, however there was never any card or note or call or email or even Milton Keynes carrier pigeon to back this up.
We then seemed to have this ironed out, courier came, and off they went, then nothing again! No returned messages absolutely nothing. I could not believe it quite frankly.
Weeks later I finally get this lady again and she says the courier never got the grinder LOL. So while my wife was trying to work she was left chasing the courier company over her mobile phone, and of course it was picked up, these characters just hadn't collected it their end!
Then once again zero communications for weeks.
May I remind any readers a business is being run here while this is going on, we had to return our loaned grinder and buy another from a reputable company the highly recommended http://www.caffeinefix.org .
Eventually I got a rather paranoid sounding "Tracey" telling us we broke the grinder LOL. There was a rep in our cafe when it arrived who witnessed this and they spoke to her to confirm this. She then said the machine manufacturer in Italy had refused to accept their return and that they would send us a replacement.
Well the reality was we had already had to find an alternative in order to even operate, so a replacement was entirely inappropriate. Again could get a hold of these shape shifters for love nor money for weeks. So by pretending to be a new client to get passed their automated phone fortress my wife got a hold of a now seriously paranoid sounding Tracey, who put us on to the circus master boss, who was very rude to my wife and told her to “ Take us to court see what you can do”.
BTW there is more to this story in terms of promises of email updates etc. which never came and returned calls that never happened but this is the nutshell of it.
6 months now after opening we are going through our credit card company to get this sorted, Xpress Coffee have said “we offered a replacement “ so my last email to them was concerning this.
    Here is the response:
