OPEL CORSA STEREO

    hi everyone, my friend have a 98 opel corsa with a blaupunkt stereo, had to replace the battery and now the stereo is asking for the code.
    how can he get the code? the garage he got the car didnt give him any advice.
    how can he remove the stereo?

    He must go to an Opel garage where they will charge him €20 euro's
    to get the code, once they are satisfied you own the car.

    No way around it, unless the code is written into your vehicle handbook
    by a careful previous owner ?
    Check the handbook, it may be written into it.

    thank you for the reply, does he have to take the radio off and check the serial number? he was already on opel and they dint do anything for him

    Is it the OE Stereo or an aftermarket unit ?
    The only info they have is for the one fitted in the factory.

    Blaupunkt Ireland is your best bet if it's not an OE Opel stereo.post_thanks.gif
