    Hey!! Sorry if this is the wrong forum... mods please feel free to move it:)

    Is there anywhere I can download Matlab for home use for free?

    You could download Octave. It's free and open-source and almost completely compatible with Matlab.

    Matlab do a student version. It's not free though but it's cheaper than a standard licensed copy.
