    Hi guys

    I am in the process of setting up a consultancy company. Which has a lot of potential as i have worked in the area for the last 3 years and lot my clients are comming on board. I am also looking at the possability of an insurance brokerage as well along with the consultancy company does any body have any experiece in this area what qualifications do you need for a brokerage is it diificult to get insurance companies to come with you this is just a though at the moment but i would be targeting clients in a specific industry that i would have a lot of contact with.

    insurance is a regulated industry - both general and life, so you will need to provide more details on your background in order to answer your questions. The financial regulator provides details on the requiremenst for the various type entities.

    johnc2212, Thank you for your response i spoke to the Professional insurance brokers association this morning and found out all the information i needed. So I am going to close this forum
