Recently got a 'Freesat' dish for the house, with dozens of free TV & Radio stations available (through the TV), but what if I only have a Midi HiFi/Radio in the room? > must I have a seperate freesat box for each radio in the house? or .................

You hear the radio stations through the TV or surround sound system, if you have one.

Yeah, you'd need a seperate receiver for each hifi (assuming they're in different rooms). Or have it connected directly to one hifi, and a video sender to transmit wireless signal to an additional radio? (maybe even one of those FM transmitters?)

If you get a receiver dedicated to radio, make sure it has at the very least, a numeric display, so you can see what channel it's on witouth a TV monitor. Even better if you get one with alpha-numeric display to show the channel name.

It'd be easier to just buy an internet radio! You can get decent ones for £60-100 on ebay.

But then he has to pay to receive his radio so it's no longer free1 :D

True; i'm assuming he already has broadband, though.
