Changing to an iPhone but only 6 months gone on current O2 contract

    Hey,

    I am currently 6 months into my O2 contract using a nokia E75 having changed over from meteor. I am thinging of getting a iphone and wondering what extra fees will I have to pay or will I have any problems changing over to the 18 month contract since my current contract isn't up? I understand I would have to pay off my current contract if I was changing network provider but since I am sticking with O2 will this still apply? Thanks for you help!

    you will be eligible for an upgrade when you hit 12 months on your contract. thats what happened to me anyway lol

    alright ik,

    yeah I know ill be eligible in 6 months time but thinking off heading off in 18 months time so would be more ideal to get it now so I don't have pay it off while i'm travelling and not using it!

    well iPhone contracts are 18 months so that's quite convenient.

    you'll have no problem changing over, i'm sure O2 will welcome you with open arms to a higher tariff contract than what you're already on.
