SD Cards, What to Buy and Where to Buy?

I just got a nice Canon 100IS compact camera for xmas. Will be bringing it away on holidays at the end of this month and want to take some nice shots and also some videos as it does HD

I've only got a 2GB card at the moment so I want something bigger, and quick too. 8GB should be plenty (I'm guessing). Is there anything I should be looking for? I see they are now devided into classes. Is it worth paying the extra for the Class 6 or is Class 4 generally fine?

I only want to buy one card so don't want to get stung for postsage etc, any recommenbdations as to a good place to buy?

Mymemory.co.uk is ussually quite good. They include postage.

I would probably advise a few 2GB or 4GB cards rather than one big card. If you have a problem then yoy don't loose everything. Look for Sandisk or Lexar cards as they have a good reputation. Sandisk Extreme III would be a good choice.
