Car crash on old N1 this morning

Did anybody see this ? Looked like a Fiat Panda or Punto slammed into the left hand side of a "traffic calming" speed sign a few hundred yards past the Round Tower garage, on the way into town. The car appeared to be in a bad way but it was very dark when I went passed at 7am.
