I had high hopes for this considering the cast had Michael Keaton, Jane Lynch, a Gilmore Girl and Matt from the FNL tv series but boy was i wrong its crap

That's a pity. Jane Lynch had sparked my interest too.

    What was wrong with it?

100% agree...it was dire!, i did like the opening scene, on the computer, that sequence was good. But it was a horridly acted, scripted and directed mess!

It bombed at the box office.

Not anyones idea of a good movie overall, but I chuckled at Keatons performance. Between this, The Merry Gentleman and Toy Story 3, it's good to see on screen relatively regularly again.

Keaton was a mess, he clearly was telegraphing the lines....he looked like he just wanted the cheque and go home.

Different strokes I suppose. I was surprised at how positive Ebert's review of it was, to be honest, which is probably why I was let down with the film overall.
