Hi does anyone know of a club in the Naas area for racing? I know about Naas CC, but their more orientated to touring, on CI there is a Naas road club but no details for them.

If their isn't a club is anyone interested in meeting up for spins?

I thought naas cc was both road and touring?

Naas CC, is the only club in Naas. I am not in the club(am in another club based in Dublin) but do race and meet up with some of the guys who race with the Naas club. Naas CC have two groups that meets an A group and a B group, the A group would do 100+ K on a sunday and at a stead pace. I can give you a contact number of the person to get in conatct with in Naas CC, if you PM me, also I go out alot around the Naas area and would me up for a spin if you wanted.

I could be wrong but from reading their webpage and talking to some of their members on rides it is more touring oriented. I'm looking to race with the people I train with really.

Hmm maybe the club has changed a little since the last time I was talking to someone which was just over a year ago at the Wicklow 200. I might try and meet up with them when the cross season is over and can rebuild a bike with bottle cages:). I would be interested in meeting up tho training with the ipod isn't appealing in this weather.
