Printer for Photo Printing

Can some one recommend a good printer for printing high quality images on photographic paper. It needs to be economical to run and fast. It will be getting a good bit of use. I'm currently using a Epson R360, the ink does not last too long and they are slow to print and noisey. I was told that Canon have good printers.
