Chinese "Dentol" Toothpaste

I just used that Dentol toothpaste and mouthwash going cheap in centra. There's a horrible taste of soap in my mouth now. Anyone else experience this? Is it gone off or something or is there just soap in it!!??? There are reports of chinese toothpaste being recalled in the states for some of their ingredients.

As soon as I started reading the first sentence I began to think about those reports I read previously about some of those chinese toothpastes ( I think there was a huge case about a cover-up ).

I'd stay away from it....

That was Walmart who bought Chinese toothpaste by the plane load, only to find out when tested it contained some of the chemicals used in anti freeze.

Dental Issues? I think its a consumer issue - it could have been about any product I had purchased...

I think I need to visit a dentist though - seein as we're on to dental issues now...

Sounds a bit dodgy to me, make sure it had european safety marks.

I got some Colgate from one of the discount stores in Australia for a $1 and thought nothing of it and left it aside until I ran out of the stuff I have, I checked today (unused) and it had the chinese writing on the back.. needless to say I ****ed it in the bin! Don't fancy brushing my teeth with antifreeze!

As they say...buy cheap, buy twice
