    Yo,

A experienced bass player looking to start a 4-piece rock band. Drummer, Guitarist and Vocalist.

Im based in South Dublin and looking for musician's aged 23+ with a professional attitude towards their music, equipment and commitment.

My favourite musicians from a bass point of view would be Gary Mournfield, Geezer Butler, Timmy Comerford, etc
And i want to start a kinda phycadelic, blues jam band... Stone Roses meet Clutch. Groove and Blues :)

Sure PM me if you're interested in getting something going.

    Cheers

    hi,
I was looking recently through webpages for some bass player (who can sing as well, but not nessessarily).

perhaps I will not have better chance..., so the you, man.
I saw your add and noticed words "blues", "rock" which are great for me.

I have project in my mind which hopefully will evolve in a band. I want set up power trio (drums, bass w/vocal, and guitar). from the start it will be only instrumental project, playing around bluesrock/hardrock covers and my ideas (I have my own arrangements). The project is to experiment with blues and hardrock, looking for grove, feeling and get better as musicans (which is no.1 rule for all band members). when being tidy and having around 10 songs and 10covers it would be good start giging and have some fun. next September I hope to try to get to some blues festival, but this is rather wish than reality right now.
There is me and experienced drummer for now. If you want to develope your horizonts in blues and hardrock then you are welcome.
But to be honest with you, my ideas first, as this is for me to get better on guitar. sorry for sounding selfish, but I am fed up with playing someone's ideas and not enjoying it. it will be time for the rest in the band as well, no worries.
Do you know Andy Frazer? That kind of bass player would be great:)) I am sure that some bass player can learn quite a lot from me and I expect to have strong bass player who can lead the rythm section when I will be running through my neck, and such bassist hopefully will be able to do it too.
long story but I want to clear everything from the beginning. if you want to talk then we can meet in town.
I live in D8 and rehearse in Blackpitts, near St.Patricks church.
I am 31 and rather friendly guy although it might not sound like that from the above:)

anyway, if you are not interested, then good luck man!
