    Hey guys,

Am looking for info on Rathgar test routes - is there a link to any such routes or would you need to get an instructor in the know to take you out. Test scheduled for two weeks time in Rathgar....would be great to hear people's comments/experiences of this route?

I done my first test in rathgar, failed it.

There's no set route, the tester will bring you any way he feels like it but I can say you'll do your hill start at the Dropping Well.

Quite a tough test centre, think it has the lowest pass rate in the country. You'd be better taking a few pre-tests with an ADI. I'll pm you details of the instructor I had.

    For this section:

·At the lights keep going straight ahead towards Rathgar village and Comans Pub.

·At the lights take a right onto Rathgar Rd

Watch the junction in Rathgar. Back when I did the test (long time ago) the lights could look odd - a right filter that actually was a straight on arrow or something. It may not be the same now but if you are rehearsing the route keep an eye out for it.
