    Hello all,
I recently bought a telescope that came with Universal platform software, it can run mac or windows. Its called 'The Sky X'. When I try to install it on my macbook the installation fails.
I tried it on my dads PC and it says that it needs openGL drivers. It wouldn't run on that computer either.
Any help will be greatly appreciated, Thanks.

It's a very open question. You'd need to give more information. opengl would be graphics related i'd guess. You'd have to start with the telescope. Is it generic or a recognised brand. If its a known brand you would have to see if you could find a forum where people are more knowledgeable about included software. If it's a more generic brand you would be better trying to find if the telescope is compatible with more known software.
Not much of an answer I'm afraid but google is your friend and a good start is googling the brand and model number.
