    I think I would prefer it in full colour, it just looks very in your face to me to be honest.

    Selective colouring is one thing that I find hard to adapt however, it is very popular among brides who like black and whites with flowers in colour but other than that it is often a case of far and few between of photos that suit it. One thing I do often do with selective colouring is desaturate the colour part slightly so it looks more acceptable, this may work with this image or it may not, no harm tying though.

    Again this is just my opinion there may be many here who love this.

    Yep I agree its a bit over powering. I will try desaturating the colour like you said, see how it turns out. The coloured version is up on pix.ie

    Looking at the coloured version I would leave it in colour to be honest.

    the b&w looks a bit flat. try adjusting the levels a bit. and also the red is way too strong and could be blended in a bit better. edges of the red areas look very rough but i think that they should improve if you blend the red in a bit more. a wider shot might look nicer as well.
