Orange light above sky in Swords

Ok, I'm weirded out. Did anyone else see a bright orange light cross the sky around Swords/the airport just now? It was very bright orange, slow moving, no sound and was very low (below the clouds), seemed to hover and then disappear into the distance. It was no helicopter or plane, I took out the binoculars and had a look and it was tiny - just a round orange light. Passed right over my estate and not a sound to it.

Really freaky. I'm not crazy :(

    Did anyone else see it?

Oh jesus it better be. It was quite bright orange, moving across the sky, maybe 500ft in the sky.

It seemed to slow down, then change direction slightly, then move off into the distance.

It certainly wasn't a laser. It was a solid object. Though I'm thinking chinese lantern fits what I saw quite well. But what if it wasn't oh god. Who on earth is letting of chinese lanterns at this hour??

This was covered in a thread here before they are basically orange sky lanterns, you will see a lot of them around this time of year

A reflection of the planet Venus that bounced off the windscreen of a Boeing 747 seen through the Aurora Borealis during a ball lightening storm.

Aurora Borealis? At this time of year? At this time of day? In this part of the country? Localized entirely within Swords??

Maybe it’s your relatives coming over to visit you for the new year of maybe you spent too much time in the cock tavern on Main Street tonight. Either way its way beyond my area of expertise

In the Bible it states ..

"When ye have come to the dates of double nothing, they well mean two for one when joined and this is the end of days.."

Now, two for every one when written .. could look like this right?

    2-1

    Right??

So what then? Well, it say's when "come together, meaning it's duplicated in some way, ie: doubled.

    So ..

    2-1 2-1

Two 21's means nothing. So what have we left??

"Double nothing" right? So let's had two zeros:

    2-1 2010

    Today's date!!!!!!

Run, get the f**k out of Swords now.

    What anniehoo said.

Plus this is the Classic Rock forum, nothing to do with North Dublin.
