Just wondering if anybody has done this course, more specifically the composition strand. I'd be interested in hearing opinions.
I'm also wondering how much do Scottish masters usually cost, and if the cost of living in Edinburgh is generally expensive.

Any help would be great, thanks!
    Ben

Edinburgh isnt that expensive by Irish standards, and its a great place to live and study.

The fees range from 3/4 k for a masters in say linguistics or something to almost 20k for some of the courses at the business school, to the registry page on www.ed.ac.uk for a list of fees.

Im not sure about the course your talking about maybe email the course director , in Edinburgh they are often happy to meet with you personally or over the phone to discuss things with you and run through any concerns.

get an idea of rents here www.s1homes.co.uk

Students generally live in morningside or meadowbank areas like that as they are right beisde the uni, on that site there listed under edniburgh east, but edinburgh is not huge by city standards. You could walk to the uni.
