Does anyone know from what area (first 4 numbers) this landline number would be from? I believe it would be from North County Dublin.

    01 9886***

    Thanks for any help.

It may be Slane, Co. Meath. However there is also an "041 988 ...." block in Meath and Louth, which seems odd.

Alternatively, if it is an "01" it may be a non-geographical number - a call centre or the like. Most geographical numbers in the 01 area start with 2, 4, 6, or 8 with 8 being dominant in the north county.
