Orphan. Brilliant thriller that's well written with a good twist. Also an amazing performance by Isabelle Fuhrman.

Invictus. Nice feel good inspirational film set around the events of the 1995 rugby world cup and Mandelas ascension to President where he attempts to unite the whites and blacks through the sport. It's long but does a good job of balancing out the politics and rugby keeping you interested.

Tell ya what OP, hit us with 5 of your favourite films and that'll help us gauge what to recommend you.

Cinema is far too widespread a passion for us to nonchalantly recommend films to you.

If we can get a better angle as to what rocks your boat then you will have gained a lot more from your question.

Edit: When I say 5 of your favourite films, I don't mean for you to get stressed and take out a pen and piece of paper and rack your brain trying to actually recall what are fav 5. Just give us a sample of some films you have enjoyed in the past and I'm sure there are many on here that will gladly point you towards some really good stuff.

Carriers? I didn't think it was great to be honest but its newish so you mightnt have seen it yet. End-of-the-world/disease/zombie/roadtrip type movie. You've got 28 Days on your list so you might like it...not a patch on it though of course.
