    Hi there,

Does anyone know where I could get one of the above? I'm just looking for one to do a wax seal on letters so do not need one of the big gaudy expensive rings, just the seal. Dublin city centre ideally, as I don't really have time to order it online.

    Many thanks.

This would mean you are impersonating the council.

Eh? No of course not. It's a gift for someone who writes a lot of letters. Mostly to people outside of Ireland. They are freely available in rings (bloody ugly things) so I can't see there being and issue with using them (would the council even use a seal in 2010??)

I was wondering if you could could get it as a stamp seal, that's all. No sinister motives!

Seals are the official "signature" of most corporate bodies.

Yes I know. But I want to use it as a wax seal on an envelope, not as a logo on a letterhead, which I agree would be a bit dubious.

Anyway. If anyone knows where I could get one....
