I think it is easier to start with finding a guitarist/co-vocalist and then pick and choose other musicians along the way. If they are impossible to find, then they can just be used as session musicians.

Some of the songs I have performed have been released on a small indie label within the context of a compilation including many established bands. They were recorded with friends playing the necessary added instruments. I play acoustic and sing/write/compose but my guitar playing does not involve anything surpassing rudimentary picking at its most complicated.

I have very little interest in playing live, as I don't want to be a background noise. I would prefer if one person was sitting on a bus, listening to a tune I wrote and hit repeat. If there was enough of an interest I would play live, as it was something I enjoyed a few years back.

If you are interested drop me a line here. I am based near to the city centre on the north side and have no interest in trekking out to somewhere like the red cow or tallaght or kimmage. Ideally town or north side 25 mins walk from town would be the answer.

Bands I like at the moment - Phoenix, Deer Tick, Local Natives, Grizzly Bear, Phospherescent, Band of Horses, Camera Obscura, Teenage Fanclub, The Billionaires, Dengue Fever, Vetiver, Beachwood Sparks.
