    Hi,

We've decided to go the Algarve this year. We're looking for a 2 to 3 bedroom villa suitable for a couple with a 2 year old. Close to shops and restaurants. Preferaby with a pool and kiddies pool. Any help would be greatly appreciated as her indoors is putting pressure on me to book and make sure that we have something to look forward to.

    Hamrog.

I'd recommend you have a look at villas on this site. There is something to suit everybody.

We have booked 2 places already for next June in Mallorca. E-mailed both owners direct and they were excellent to deal with, just paid deposit and balance will be paid on arrival.

I don't know what your budget is and what month you are looking at but this one I found is in a great location right on the beach and within walking distance of resort centre.

There are much better deals but you may have to be a bit further from town centre or more rural. Happy searching :-)

    Hi SunDew,

Thanks for taking the time to reply - that's a very good website - just having a look through it now so we should find something that's within budget.

Looking for something around the €1000 mark for 10 to 14 days - do you think that's achievable?

Hi Hamrog. I'm sure it is achievable however you may have to sacrifice on distance from a town etc. Also depends on month you want . We booked a small cottage (rural) in Mallorca but it's only a 15 min walk from a port town and beach and we got it for less then €500 for a week (between 2). There is no pool but it's private with lovely views from the terrace over the valley and orange groves which it's located in.
I'm not familiar with The Algarve so can't really recommend anything but I do recommend the site from my own dealings with the owners! It seems to be down for maintenance at the mo so can't do a quick search. I did see a villa last night about a 15 mins walk from a town centre with a gated pool.
Just bookmark some places you like ,check availability and shoot off some p.ms to the owners. One tip: if you do manage to find a property you want to book register you booking prop no with the website before you officially book with owner as they will cover you in the unlikely event that something goes wrong with the booking. We also booked with properties that had a "booking history",were a while with the site and had reviews etc!

    Hi all,

Looking for something similar to Zelemon, a villa near a beach for couple with a 3 year old + 1 year old. First time looking at villas, finding it difficult to distinguish the good from the bad - much easier to do this with hotels.

    Thanks
