I know it's an old topic - how to book Aer Lingus and Ryanair flights without paying the credit card charges.

I've a new twist on the question - does anyone know how to do this if you're no longer based in Ireland.

I've just moved to Lyon in France and I will be taking Aer Lingus flights from Lyon to Dublin and if I'm really stuck, I'll take Ryanair from Grenoble to Dublin.

So how do I avoid the credit card charges?

There most be a few Polish readers out there that have figured this out?

Aer Lingus - get a Visa Electron card.

Ryanair - get a prepaid Mastercard.
