Can you really say youre ok with twins?

    Following on from the other threads for a laugh :pac:

    In most countries in south america, especially Colombia where I live, a lot of the less educated folk are not ok with identical twins (0.2% of the population afaik). Theyre considered weird, strange. Sorf of devil children. Often, twins will either hang around only with each other, or else move apart and pretend that they are not twins. Its seen by some as a joke and by others as a weird freakish thing to be. Like being ginger.

    So can you say that youre totally ok with identical twins?

    I know a couple of twin girls, cant say that Im freaked out by em, but theres definetly something weird about it!

    Twins, they're weird, it's like a person, except there are two of them.

    A friend of mine has twin daughters,infants, and if one is in the kitchen and he tells her to go down to get the other twin for dinner ,she'll go down,converse with her twin in baby babble and they both come back for to eat.
    So infants are actually saying something when they're babbling at us.

    I've no problem with twins.

    Like being ginger. My God, how insultiing, I never realised I would be affected by such predjudice.
    TWINS ARE PEOPLE TOO FOR GODS SAKE!!!
    (Not like gingers)

    But to be honest, my sis was approached by a guy I know who she didn't, and he said oh you must be Doozie's sister. When she replied he started to kind of freak out a bit as we sound similiar too, and he just started shaking his head and said, sorry I cant talk to you, its too weird and walked off. He may have been drunk but she was really offended.
    It wasn't that big a deal but still.
    The whole being the same thing doesn't bother me as I know we are totally different but it bugs the crap out of her when people confuse us.

    My brothers are twins so it never struck me as weird

    until I mentioned that I had twin brothers once and all my friends were shocked and amazed :/
