As the title suggests, after a hundred times of trying to quit, i've decided to finally come clean and let the folks know i smoke. Its getting to stage where i'm avoiding family functions etc. for fear of being deprived of a cigarette for any prolonged period. Don't wish to keep doing this, so thus the conundrum?
I don't really fear telling them in that it's not like its a major bombshell at my age, the main problem is i always thought i'd quit before i'd need to fess up, so i do i tell them now that i've been smoking for 20 years and only telling them now??
PS. Don't want the smart ass you should give up suggestions, i know i should and want to, now is just not the time
