cigatette lighter in transit

    Hi All,

    Prob stupid question to those who are in the know but the cigarette lighter in my van doesnt work, would it just be a spark plug or fuse problem r sumthing? obviously i havent a clue. Any suggestions?

    Spark plug???? their in the engine certainly not that. Might be the fuse.

    Most likely a fuse.

    If you drop the glove box the fuses are behind there.

    There is normally a diagram showing what each of them do.

    If you pull the fuse you should be able to see if it is blown.

    Probably fuse alright, there's also a chance that the wiring is messed up too though. I remember when I got my transit off a dealer, mine didn't work and he said it took 2 of his guys about 30 minutes to rewire the whole thing!
