My games keep crashing :( acer 7720

    Hey all, happy new year.

    I have been having countless problems with this laptop since I bought it over a year ago. The laptop is the acer aspire 7720 with an extra gig of ram.

    Basically the problems occur during games but not all games just seems to be certain ones. All that happens is the old vista pops up with a message telling me the game has stopped working for no known reason and the program must close. It is very frustrating when in the middle of a game and it crashes losing all the progress. The annoying thing is that it can crash within 2minutes or an hour it just isn't consistant.

    Games that there has been alot of issues with are:
    Company of Heroes
    Counter Strike
    Left 4 Dead
    and many more

    But games like wow and some others work fine.. as i say its very annoying. I have cleaned fans and dirt from the laptop and reformatted the hard drive 2 or 3 times but my games keep crashing :(
    The games i play are all on low settings and are very smooth so it shudnt be an issue. Any advice would be great.
