Smoked a joint when I was drunk last night

When i was out of my mind drunk last night i took a couple of drags from a joint and ive to give a urine sample for a new job im going for next week. Im going mad with worry now, i know it was such a stupid thing to do, does anyone know how long it would take to get out of my system. Im never smoke and it was only 2 drags. Please, ive looked on the internet and i cant get an answer. Anyone know?

Does anyone know of a pharmacy anywhere in dublin that sells a home drug test kit. You can buy them online at this website http://www.inhealth.ie/Products/Home-Drug-Test__4006.aspx but i dont want stuff like this posted to my mothers address and ill drive anywhere to get it as it would put my mind at ease

Firstly 2 pulls of a joint is not going to cause you to fail a drug test, this is an insanely small about of marijuana which you could claim that was secondary

Plus, the current drug tests for work places only detect the use of opiates, amphetamines and benzodiazepine so chances are you will be fine, and if you do fail, which you almost definitly won't, you wouldnt want to work for a company that doesn't hire you because of 2 tokes of a joint

I'd guess you'll be fine. Drink a lot of water and go to the gym a lot between then and now. Most joints are only like 1/3rd weed or hash anyway.

You'll be fine. A mate of mine used to do the whole 'drinking vinegar' trick, but at two tokes I don't think you need to worry about it.

Who's to say the urine test is for drugs? Most of the time it's for diabetes.

And, AS FAR AS I KNOW, they have to tell you that they are testing you for illegal substances. Have they told you OP?

Yes marijuana is the drug (of the common ones consumed in Ireland) that stays in the system the longest, but that is only with chronic, heavy use.

Without freaking you out if they are testing for marijuana it might show up. I know someone who fell foul of this about 5 years ago. Marijuana can stay in the system for over a month whereas amphetamines tend to work out in a few days. It may be true that you smoked such a small amount it won't show up but in the mean time do everything you can to get it out of your system.

As has been said drink a lot of water between now and the test and I mean a LOT. Until the test drink water constantly and exercise as much as you can without making yourself sick. The exercise will speed out the sweating up of toxins and the water will both flush out your system and dilute your urine on the day of the test. If anything does show up in your test if it is very weak you could deny ever smoking but reason that you must have passive smoked it. The other thing is that if your urine is too diluted and nothing at all shows up they may ask you to test again so don't smoke any more after the test.

you have to be smoking it regularly for it to stay in your system like that. 2 tokes of a joint probably left your system as fast as it arrived. Seriously I would be absolutely shocked in something showed up.

That's not true. I know a guy who didn't get hired over MJ showing up on the test. He would have been using heavy machinery. He was a very regular smoker though.

I'm pretty sure I read if its only a small amount its out of your system in a week max

get down to a head shop and try to get a drug wash out kit....dont know if thats the right wording but im sure if you explain they will know and understand...

OP, I had a similar tsituation a few years ago when I went for a medical for a new job. The medical consisted of an eye test, a hearing test and a urine sample which the doctor looked at and said 'that's fine.'
