Anyone else having this problem? I was told by technical support that they oversold over the Christmas period and they don't have the capacity for their new subscribers. Prior to this the service was great, now it's not usable. Anyone know if/when they are going to upgrade their service ?

The coverage here is fine. I still connect at 7.2Mbs HPSA. Sometimes the internet works as normal in spurts but most of the time it crawls. I've tried different machines, different operating systems etc.. I believe their cell site/s are overloaded.

Time to start the "Meteor THE PROBLEMS M-M-MEGATHREAD", no? In all seriousness, it might have been better to go with a provider like 3, who already had these problems and have since responded by upgrading capacity. That being said, mobile broadband simply isn't fixed line or at least fixed wireless broadband, and never will be.

Any chance you could get Digiweb fixed wireless where you are, or Smart, or basically anything that isn't mobile? The only thing where mobile broadband is useful is if you need to connect to the internet on the move.

Some people cant get fixed broadband and the only thing they can get is mobile broadband and its not that great most of the time, but some people would like wifi like me and i dont know if my broadband (O2 Ireland) is suitable to run things like playstation network or laptops around the house.:(

    Download: 4.65Mb/s
    UpLoad: 1.23Mb/s

I'm getting the above results in Bishopstown if thats any use. So other than the usual random dropped connection, I cant complain.
