    Hi all.

    any body had this problem>?

I have an ATA when configured to my ORBTALK account works fine for all calls in & out. Now I want to switch this ATA to a freespeech a/c. When I enter the freespeech a/c details onto the ATA I can make calls on freespeech ok, but when someone calls my freespeech account I can not hear the caller, but the caller can hear me. So why would my ATA work ok with orbtalk but not freespeech..........? I would be most greatful for any suggestions you might have

    Thanks

The most likely reason is a typo somewhere or you've missed changing one or other setting over.

Does the ATA not support multiple accounts, so you could leave the original account as is and get a fresh setup with the new?

Or you could try a softphone, enter the details there and see if it works, if not there might be some error logs to guide you.

My freespeech a/c works fine on a softphone and my ata only supports a single a/c

That leaves the most likely cause to be a typo or some unusual setting which doesn't agree with freespeech, I've never used them so I can't really advise any more.

Just a quick thought, are you trying to use the softphone and the ATA at the same time? That might cause a conflict.
