HP MINI Windows 7 starter to Windows 7 Ultimate

    Hi All

    I have bought a HP mini and it came with Windows 7 starter .

    I have Window 7 Ultimate on a USB stick .
    Does anyone have step by step instructions how I can install the upgrade .

    Boot from the usb stick and take it from there? Can't see any issues with it tbh.

    I have set it up like that but it still wont work . I dont see what im doing wrong

    Have you tried launching it from within windows? It should reboot and go from there.

    I have it as an ISO file . Would that cause an issue . If I launch from my desktop it thinks I want to burn it

    Take the contents on the iso file and put them on the usb stick. Then it should work. There should be no need for an iso file on the usb.

    I upgraded to ultimate a few weeks ago using the upgrade option in the control panel. It took only a couple of minutes to preform the complete upgrade.. All I did was enter the new key, the machine reset and there ultimate was :eek:
