I never really gambled before but decided to give it a go on the 27th, and with 5 days experience behind me and having turned 55 euro into a bank of 108 euro with 5 in play, I have 5 in play which are all ridiculous odds on, I consider these my safe bets and a way of getting rid of the money for a short time so as not to blow it all on the horses if things are going wrong

So I'm starting the day with a bank of 107.17 (1 pt is 2.17 euro) and the horses for today that I'll be betting on are but will only bet if odds are better than 1.37

13'00 Southwell Rebel duke 3.0-Win Breaking even at this point(I betted the min here as Tramore hadn't finished :rolleyes:)
13'35 Southwell Dart 0.83-Win I broke the 1.37 rule above but just had a good feeling,3.62 euro up and back to 2.17 bet
13'40 Cheltenham Punchestown 0.53-Non runner
14'00 Tramore Ballyvoille 3.34-Non runner
14'40 Southwell inside track 1.20-Loss
15'15 Southwell Miss glitters 2.25-Loss
15'20 Cheltenham Mr Thriller 0.67-Loss Again should not have backed this because of the odds

The 2pm bet doesn't sit too easy with me, so may not go through with it, I'll start with a bet of 2.17 and if it loses I'll go up to 4.34 and so on.
Any advice and comments are very much welcomed as I'm pretty much a novice and have got most of my info from here and google

Well I lost 9.40 euro, and I learnt a couple of things also.
Stick to the rules and I have to allow more than 5 mins between races.
I also had one other bet which lost, Bronx boy, so total loss on the horses for today 11.57.
Debating whether or not to take another 11.57 and try my luck on the greyhounds.

I've still been experimenting the last few weeks and have still managed to keep my bank. I've been covering myself with sometimes betting on 2/3 horses per race and tomorrow I'll still do the same but I'm going to split my bank in 2, bank A and Bank B. I also think my staking plan needs to be a bit more on the riskier side but I just can't get the right balance, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Bank A will be betting on 1 horse only per race and for that horse to win.
