MS Outlook Mail problem

    Anyone else having issues with MS Outlook, myself and two other people I know are all having the same issue, we can receive mails but can't send any :confused:

    Eh, are you using the same mailserver by any chance?

    It doesnt matter what ISP you are with - your outbound POP3 mail server may not be correct - check the website for the mail server you use to get the right details...

    It's back working now for all of us, don't know what was wrong as none of us have done anything to it or made changes to outgoing settings.

    SMTP surely:). POP3 only receives, never sends - always inbound, never outbound.

    It's gone again now, can receive no problem just won't send, don't know what is going on I've checked firewall, AVS no settings have been changed on anyhting :confused:
    Error message:

    Task...sending reported error (0 X 80042109): Outlook is unable to connect to your outgoing (SMTP) e-mail server. If you continue to receive this message contact your server administrator or ISP.

    Just on to Tech support and there is problems with broadband in the Leinster area at present and this is causing problems with outgoing mail so they say.
