Happy new year to you too and everyone else on the cycling forum.

I was watching the darts this week. In a post match interview with Phil Taylor (15 times world champion or come such) was talking about what he usually does on new years eve. Which he cant this year because he has a match on 1st January. Anyway, at 00:00 he will go upstair or out to his garage and hit three 180's just so he can say hes the first guy in the world in that year to hit 3 x 180's giving him a head start on his competitors. I thought this was a pretty cool thing to do to ring in the new year so at 00:00 tonight at the base of howth hill ready to climb it. Ill be the first person in this new decade to cycling up howth hill !

    First !
This may not be true. At 00:00 i shall be tipsy

    I sincerely hope it's better than 2009!

Even my son got a puncture on his new Islabike on the first outing. Will put up a picture later, of the bike. It's very nice and well spec'd.

    Happy new year, all.

Just cycled from Stoneybatter to Sandymount- a few hairy moments, but I didn't put a foot down once! I hope the rest of this year's cycles aren't quite so eventful. :)
