    I see that the crooner is on RTÉ One now. He's looking well for his age. They showed a few old videos of him and he's looking sweeter today than he ever was. He wears that black suit well.

    Any fans of his on boards or are you not into him because you think of him as Granny's favourite. Not a big fan of him myself but always get a laugh at how people, even tv presenters take the mickey out of him. Deep down he seems to be an innocent enough guy.

    Not particularly a fan of his music.
    My dad's worked with him and says he's a genuinely nice guy.
    When he did his shows for RTÉ he'd come out and chat to the audience, entertain them during the breaks, and wouldn't go home until everyone who wanted an autograph/photo got one.

    I can't help but find him weird. To me he seems to be a closet gay, who is religious and had a sheltered childhood.

    I wouldn't be a fan of his by any means but he is good at what he does I suppose. Have also heard he is very good to his fans which is more than can be said for a lot of people.
