Just Stuck on 2 crossword clues.

The first is 14 across in the the chequered flag crossword in the Irish Times

The clue is: Down Water Record Breaker (4) B-E-

The second clue is 85 across from the Jumbo Simplex Crossword also in the irish times.

This clue is: Take This leave without permission (6) -r--c-

any help would be greatly appreciated
