I have a bit of a dilemma. I'm looking to join a club and can't decide which to choose so any advice would be much appreciated.

I live on the northside and my pal who is also joining lives southside so as a compromise we are thinking somewhere west. As for budget we are not keen on any joining fees (who is!) and would pay up to €1500 per year in subs. I would like to get the best standard of golf course I can, neither of us are very interested in the clubhouse but would like some decent practice facilities.

    Any thoughts?
