im looking for a reliable cheap car for under E1000, with 2 yrs nct , 5 door and engine not higher than 1.6l and not lower than 1.2l ....... any offers ??? and also do u know any car sites where you could look for second hand cars???

I'd say top 3 should be:

1. toyota, you'll get newer for money than 2 or 3, good in petrol or diesel - carina is my favourite > bulletproof, but must have nct
2. vw diesel - golf or polo(hb or saloon)
3. audi diesel - a4

But they might when you pass out the suped up civic they took that blew up when joy riding

That is a great engine in the Starlet and Corolla. My god what a bunch of cars they are!!
