    Indoor range for what?

There are two indoor ranges in the country that I know of - both in Wicklow
one covers rimfire rifle and pistol and the other covers both rimfire and centrefire pistol and gallery rifle

I'm pretty sure the college ranges are indoor but they are not open clubs

Both college ranges are indoors, but as B'man said, can't take members who aren't students, staff or alumni (college insurance rules apparently). WTSC is also indoor, but is 10m airgun only. East Antrim also has indoor facilities but might be a bit of a commute...

In direct answer to the OP though, nope, haven't heard anything myself. Others might have though.

Yes. Paul walsh of East Coast Dod and Gun. 086 8282700 (he is an RFD that makes his number is available)
I saw the drawings it looks very impressive.
He insists that it will happen. If (and it is a big if) it opens it would be a great facility. Even if it was just for air pistols it would be great.
He has some Bakil air pistols brand new cheap enough like this:

I had a go of the above, great fun! Very accurate.

    Indoor range for what?
Full bore, rim fire and air pistols. He has quite a collection!

Are they both pistol ranges still operating?

    €250
I don't know if that is a good price, but I thought it was. It is a precision pistol.

That's a good price for that pistol allright.
Even if it's not the Glock model :D

That's a very nice price actually. Good to see. :) Would be well worth an investment for any pistol shooter.

That is what I was thinking. I only fired one once, but it was more fun than I expected. It should be easy to license too. Full bore is much more my thing, but this is so affordable and accurate.

What kind of money are we talking for membership ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,102 ✭✭✭Hibrion

Well I am referring to Hilltop and Rathdrum. Both of which are alive and well.

If I have learned one thing in shooting - never believe a word anyone tells you about someone or somewhere else.

If you hear a rumour - whatever you do - do not tell it to anyone else without first calling the person in question and asking them.

    Rumours have us all fecked.

If we applied that to all sides B'man, we'd all be a lot happier, I suspect :(
